• May 1, 2010 www.drchrisforcongress.com Dr. Salvino is a husband, father, physician, trauma surgeon, pilot, military veteran and a candidate for U.S Congress, CD
5. He is running as a conservative and has explicit concerns regarding our health care programs and the security of
our nation and its borders. Dr. Salvino gave us a look, from the inside, at the Health Care Reform Act and the
number one problem--COST. He shared his concerns of our southern border, having just returned
from the area. He relayed his interviews of local ranchers and some border patrol agents. Hear the Broadcast on Archives page. To learn more about Dr. Salvino and his campaign, please visit his web site at: www.drchrisforcongress.com To ask how you can show your support, contact the campaign manager: teresa@drchrisforcongress.com
• December 19, 2009 Computers For Soldiers This organization helps those that are deployed and stationed in distant lands, to keep in touch with loved ones back
home through computer technology. Many of these heroes can only dream of having a decent computer
with the software and the speed needed. Now, thanks to Computers For Soldiers the dream becomes real. Anyone
that has ever served and spent a Christmas, a birthday, an anniversary away from loved ones understands the need for
contact with them and getting the latest news. You can help them share those holidays, births, religious rites, graduations
and other special events such as a baby's first step or first words with up-to-date photos, emails and
webcams. Donate funds or donate computers and useable equipment to this stellar organization. Replace
a tear of loneliness with a tear of joy on the face of a soldier, sailor, airman or marine. Let them know
you care. Click on the name above or go to: www.computersforsoldiers.org (This organization works closely with and also donates computers to Fisher House. To learn
more about Fisher House: www.fisherhouse.org )
• December 19, 2009 Operation Homefront of Arizona Our military sons and daughters that are in combat theaters need to stay focused. Worrying about financial issues
back home that threaten their loved ones can lead to mistakes and mistakes can end the life of a hero or of those that depend
on him/her. This organization helps immediate family members that have fallen on hard times since income has been cut
back from what it was---before the job was left behind to serve the call of patriotism and duty. OHOA also helps the
families of our wounded warriors during their trials. Please give to this organization. Margy Bons, the organization's
president from inception, is a gold star mom. Her son gave his all in support of his military brothers and sisters.
Please help carry on this support. Volunteer your services and/or donate funds. To learn more click on
the local web site (at beginning of this article "Operation Homefront of Arizona" or for a chapter near you:
www.operationhomefront.net (This organization is one of the top rated charities for efficiency, over 92% of a donation goes directly
to the families of our heroes.)
• September 21, 2009: Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation I urge you to go to their website and make a donation to honor our Military sons and daughters who have sacrificed
dearly for our freedom. The Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation helps these soldiers financially during their recovery time, and
often makes it possible for their family members to be at their side in the hospital... Without the support of the Foundation,
many family members could not be a part of the wounded soldier's support team - and that can make all the difference in
recovery time! The Foundation is small and not well known, but you can help change that. Donations are tax deductible.
Any funds you donate go directly to the wounded soldier and his family to help them during his recovery time. I encourage
you to give till it hurts. They did. If you want to say Thank You to a soldier for standing between you and evil, donate
now at www.woundedeodwarrior.org
- June 29, 2009: VETERAN TICKETS FOUNDATION: If you are a veteran or are currently serving in the Armed Forces,
and would like to attend a sports event but do not have the means to do so, contact the Veteran Tickets Foundation at 1-888-241-1550

distributes them nationwide to active duty military personnel, veterans and their families. (If you wish to donate to the
cause, all donations are tax deductible.) For full details, visit their website:
